As a successful fashion photographer, Vincent Rustuel returns to his original passion with the Mer et Lumière (Sea and Light) exhibition. Born the son of a sailor, he orientated his imagery with the sea and the nautical world from the very beginning. Although he has also dedicated himself to other genres, such as the world of horse sports, water sports are part of his own personal balance.

It is thus no wonder that the photographer has developed a particular predilection for all disciplines of water sports. He himself windsurfs, paddles, surfs and kitesurfs. His exhibitions are both witness to and synthesis of his passions.

His photography is characterised by subtle but powerful black & white contrasts. In his work, he enacts the encounters, the confrontation with the natural elements such as the ocean, rocks and people. Bodies in movement and at rest, posing or in action.

The success

Despite a full calendar, the photographer found time to present his artistic approaches in person. Over 300 enthusiastic visitors took part in the vernissage. A large number of experts and media representatives were guests at the exhibition – purchases were made.
But the buyers have to be patient. The photos of the „Mer et Lumière“ exhibition will first be shown in Milan, Luxembourg and Paris. An exhibition in Dubai is planned.
